A Civil servant racked-up more than 780,000 hits on porn sites during office hours in nine months – without any of his colleagues noticing.
The Japanese man, an employee of the Kinokawa government in western Japan, visited the porn sites from June last year to February 2008.
The randy employee accessed porn sites a staggering 170,000 times in July alone.
The man, who has now been demoted, has not been named.
Tomiko Waki, a Kinokawa official said no-one in the office would have noticed because each desk was set apart from each other.”
Bosses only discovered his sleazy antics after his computer became infected with a virus – prompting officials to examine his web browser’s history.
Along with the demotion, he received a 20,000 Yen monthly pay cut.
City officials said the number of porn hits discovered on his computer’s internal log was so high in part because one click on certain types of pornographic sites registers multiple hits.
