TARA REID has stripped off for Playboy despite saying she would never pose naked.
A botched liposuction op in 2004 left the American Pie star with unsightly scars which sapped her confidence.
She ruled out ever posing nude but HUGH HEFNER and co appear to have changed her mind with the help of a hefty pay cheque.
An insider told a US magazine: “She was a bit insecure about her body when they first started.
“She looked great and finally got into the groove.”
Tara turned down numerous opportunities to bare all since coming to prominence in the hit American teen movie.
However, offers dried up following her dodgy surgery.
Tara said: “I know there are problems with my stomach. There are bumps on it, it’s uneven, but it’s not that bad. My stomach scars are my battle wounds.”
