Porn queen Jenna Jameson and beefy baby daddy Tito Ortiz are ready to kiss and make up.
After the Ultimate Fighting Championship star was arrested on domestic violence charges last week, Jameson says she wants him back, according to CNN.com.
“By calling the police, my father was trying to defuse a private issue between two people,” she said in a written statement.
“Unfortunately, what actually happened has now been dramatically distorted and misinterpreted and remarks that both Tito and I made after the police arrived reflect the state of shock that we were both in,” the Friday statement said. “He’s a fantastic father and I’m confident we can work through this challenge.”
Jameson, 36, contended that Ortiz beat her on April 26. The former porn star’s father called police from their southern California home and Ortiz, 35, was hauled away in handcuffs.
The couple’s reunion will have to wait until an automatic restraining order expires Monday at midnight. Jameson and Ortiz have been together since 2006 and have 13-month-old twins.
After his arrest, Ortiz claimed that Jameson was addicted to Oxycontin, but later recanted those allegations.
Jameson passed a drug test last week, according to her attorney, Ronald Richards.
Ortiz said he wanted to patch things up and teared up during a press conference the night of April 26 with his lawyer.
“They have two children together,” attorney Chip Matthews said. “They have planned on spending their lives together and they want nothing more than to work together.”
